ELEPHANT WITH CROSSED LEGS – GAJA ASANA
The Elephant Pose is an anti-fatigue pose and a tonic for the heart and for blood circulation, beneficial for the cervical vertebrae and the whole spine; guarantees excellent oxygenation of all organs of the head; calms thoughts and deepens psychophysical relaxation. With respect to the classic position, in this variation, the stretching of the lumbosacral region is gentler and yet more pronounced at the same time.
